E.H. Gochnauer & Sons has long been recognized as a trusted name in commercial HVAC and plumbing across Central Pennsylvania. But when it came to their residential work, brand awareness didn’t match their experience or quality of service. To close that gap, we helped the team establish a fresh, standalone identity – one that would give their residential division the clarity, credibility and customer appeal it needed to grow.

Gochnauer at Home was born from that vision. Backed by the leadership’s desire to speak more directly to homeowners, the new brand brought warmth, polish and distinction to their consumer-facing efforts.

What We Did

We built the Gochnauer at Home brand from the ground up – starting with strategy and extending into full-scale identity and execution. Every touchpoint was designed to distinguish the residential division from its commercial counterpart while maintaining a sense of continuity and professionalism.

  • Developed brand strategy to position Gochnauer at Home as a trusted, homeowner-focused extension of the commercial brand
  • Created the name and tagline to clearly define the residential division
  • Designed the logo using orange and blue to symbolize warm and cool – key elements of HVAC – and incorporated a swirl graphic to represent airflow and energy
  • Built out visual identity and messaging across all key communications
  • Designed business stationery, signage and staff presentation materials
  • Produced direct mail, sell sheets and a pocket folder for field sales and service use
  • Created branded clothing and vehicle magnets to extend visibility
  • Designed online display ads to reach a broader residential audience
  • Crafted a simple, unified exhibit display for community events and home shows
