The Review Bundle
Brand Review & Recommendations
The Review Bundle is for you if you need help evaluating your brand and messaging but are not ready to commit to a refresh. You can always do that as a second step if you prefer. Here is what it includes:
- Background Discovery & Secondary Research – to gain an understanding of your Association, we will interview appropriate staff (virtually, of course), send a questionnaire to board members, volunteers, and others as appropriate, and do online research of existing information that is relevant to your situation.
- Analysis – we will then study your situation and facts, drawing on our decades of experience, and formulate recommendations for how you should proceed with your brand.
- Brand Recommendation Report – you will receive our report with a summary of our work and our recommendations for how to strengthen your brand. This will contain a specific strategy and actions you can take in the future – or have us help you with as a next step.
- Consultation – we will go over our recommendations and answer any questions during a phone call or Zoom conference.
The Refresh Bundle
Brand Redevelopment
The Refresh Bundle will be perfect for you if your Association needs to refresh its brand and summary messaging. KEEP IN MIND, your brand is your claim of distinction and the definition of who you are. Your messaging is how you share your brand with the world and convey the value and benefits you offer. This bundle includes:
- Background Discovery & Secondary Research – to gain an understanding of your Association, we will interview appropriate staff (virtually, of course), send a questionnaire to board members, volunteers, and others as appropriate, and do online research of existing information that is relevant to your situation.
- Analysis – we will then study your situation and facts, drawing on our decades of experience, and formulate recommendations for how you should proceed with your brand.
- Key Marketing/Messaging Points Development – these are the unique set of characteristics and benefits that only your Association can provide. They come from analysis and distillation of who you are, what you do, how you do it, and more. They become the foundation of your brand and messaging and should guide all of your marketing activities, from strategic planning through development of promotional plans and materials. Typically, there are four to six key marketing/messaging points.
- Summary Marketing Message – this is a brief statement (usually one paragraph) that concisely communicates the essence of your key marketing/messaging points and your brand.
- Branding Tagline Options – your branding tagline should create an image in the minds of your membership and audiences consistent with your brand and key marketing/messaging points. It is not necessarily descriptive of what you do, but rather who you are and what benefits and value you offer. You will have several options from which to choose.
- Branding Blocks – these are several brief paragraphs that are crafted to be ready for use by your Association in marketing communications. They typically reflect the key marketing/messaging points and possibly other information we discover throughout this process.
- Report – you will receive a report that includes a summary of all of our work during this process.
- Marketing Materials – we will produce new or updated marketing collateral to meet your needs. This can include anything from brochures, sell sheets and flyers to news releases, online content (no programming), signage and more. They can consist of text, design, images (cost not included) and other design elements. You can choose the materials that we create that are equivalent to a 4- to 6-page brochure.
The Message Bundle
Messaging Implementation
The Message Bundle is a great option if your Association does not need a brand refresh but you DO need to revise your marketing materials or create new ones. It includes
- Messaging Discovery – we will interview appropriate Association staff and survey others to understand your current message.
- Marketing Message Review – we will then study your message to determine how it can be strengthened. We will share this information with you and decide how to proceed.
- Message Refresh/Revision – based on these activities, we will refresh or revise your message to be used in marketing/messaging materials.
- Marketing Materials – we will produce new or updated marketing collateral to meet your needs. This can include anything from brochures, sell sheets and flyers to news releases, online content, signage and more. They can consist of text, design, images and other design elements. You can decide what materials we create for you.
